SpinnTwinn and LT4s Go in Norway

Joe Newton is one of the founding members of Nordic Lightpacking and our Trail Ambassador from Bergen, Norway.  This summer he took his SpinnTwinn and his Lightrek 4s along with the rest of his ultralightweight gear on a trip.  He went to the stunning Hardangervidda National Park, a high mountain plateau environment with incredible scenery.  As we all know things don’t always go as planned, and they didn’t for Joe this time.  He has put together a story on this along with some beautiful photography.

    Joe –

Sorry for the illness, but wow, you saw some spectacular scenery! I can’t wait to come visit and go hiking some time.

Glen – anytime! The Hardangervidda is especially stunning and easy to get to from Bergen where I live.

Phil – I agree, a Euro GG Trail Ambassador symposium is an awesome idea. I’m sure Hendrik will be up for it.

Remember reading about that on your blog Joe and they were some of your best images. Nice trip, with the obvious caveat! I should say for GG – like the new website – very impressive.
