Gossamer Gear Trail Ambassadors

Gossamer Gear Trail Ambassadors

Gossamer Gear welcomes another outstanding group of new Trail Ambassadors including Carl Rush, David Hine, Damien Tougas, Joan West, and Ken Holder.

Located in the United States, Canada and Scotland, this new group of Trail Ambassadors holds leadership and teaching positions with organizations and hiking clubs including Trail Dames, the Appalachian Mountain Club, the Boy Scouts of America, the Appalachian Long Distance Hikers Association, and Piedmont Search and Rescue

"Most of our trail ambassadors are volunteers who are already teaching lightweight and ultralight backpacking techniques to adults and children in their local communities," says Grant Sible, president of Gossamer Gear. "The purpose of the Gossamer Gear Trail Ambassador program is recognize their efforts and to connect them with our Trail Ambassador Community in order to share their experiences and teaching best practices."

Gossamer Gear is expanding the Trail Ambassador Program to 100 people this year and there are still spots open for qualified candidates. For more information about the Trail Ambassador Program or to apply, please visit the program description and application page.

Please welcome these new Trail Ambassadors to the Gossamer Gear family!
